As I've mentioned before, an outfit's best finishing-touches always flourish with the right makeup to pull it off. Now that spring is here, we can toss out those dark browns, blacks, and charcoal lipsticks (please?) and show off those fresh and girly springtime tones. To pep up your sunny lip inspo, I put together a few outfits to get the gears turning on how you can match up your own favorite pieces with corresponding lippies for looks that will have you feeling fresh off the runway.
Nude lips are an annual spring makeup staple. While it isn't difficult to throw on your fave "perfect shade" of nude lip and go, consider if theres any way you can use that subtle lip as a way to add some variation to a look. To highlight the matching tones in this adorable breezy-day blue look, I added a perfect lilac purple crossbody too add some flair to the all-blue look.
Pink Lips are the perfect girly statement pout. For a sunny day, try incorporating a pop of hot pink for some fun and flirty flair to a simple piece like a denim dress. Pull the subtle look off with a sassy bright lip and a pair of matching flats. Don't forget! On Wednesdays, we still wear pink!
