Style Watch: Miley Cyrus
Regardless of where you know her from, it's an undeniable fact that Miley Cyrus has been a powerful influence in the fashion scene ever since her Disney days. Coming from a Hannah Montana kid, I still to this day adore Miley Cyrus and her style. Her raw vocal talent, trendy taste, and cheerful yet in-your-face demeanor only compliment the bold fashion statements she pulls off with ease. Known by red-carpet watchers for her unpredictability, Miley has been seen many countlessly in holographic fabrics, see-through plastics pieces, funky flourecent colors, and risqué cut-outs. Although she's never shy to make a statement, Miley's personal style has ranged with influences everywhere from bohemian chic to 90's vibes. Her streetwear looks are paparazzi gold; where below you can check her out in some of my favorite looks throughout the years. When she's not singing, acting, or posting adorable pictures of her doggies on Instagram, Miley is a huge advocate for human rights and is a prominent voice in the LGBTQ community. In 2014 she established the Happy Hippie Foundation, a non-profit group that raises awareness about racial and gender inequalities, offers aid to homeless teens and young people. Regardless of how crazy our smiley Miley can get, you can never say she isn't at least fun to watch.
